so far theyve gotten the chest and back plates for the armor, and the M41A. But in object list you still see only one object. Each part is separate and has own caps on it's ends. It's Halo 1 model, cleaned out of crossed polygons and divided to many parts for easier build.
some members over on the boards have started assembling this stuff. here's result of my humble (he he) efforts to bring full hog model to the life. I know that there is over 600 matches because they go that high. Pepakura files found Photos of Foam/Paper armor. The hardest part is searching through all the pieces just to match 2 numbers. Quite a bit of progress since my last post. I told her " it's an engineer thing, you wouldn't understand." The only difference is that it is cheaper, cooler, and I am making all the pieces myself. My wife will watch me for about 5 minutes, then walk away shaking her head mumbling "I just don't understand." I have tried to explain to her that this is similar to putting together a plastic model from a box. I have actually lost count of how many hours I have invested into this thing. The 405th Infantry Division operates with respect to Microsoft's 'Game Content Usage Rules' using assets from Halo. I started using hot glue, but I burned my fingers holding the pieces together. I saw somewhere that I should use Super glue, since it dries quickly, or hot glue. All I had to do was match the numbers on the tabs and the flats. That sounds pretty easy right? Wrong! I thought this would go much more smoothly.
